Bob has made such a difference in so many animals' lives... here's what his clients' owners are saying...

~ I wanted to take a moment and send you a "thank you" for taking the time and putting the effort into fixing my horse, Fancy Blue.

In the past, any person that tried to ride Fancy Blue got bucked off. I went through three trainers and all of them hit the ground. I was at a loss. I knew she had all the gournd training she needed, I knew she wasn't started too early, and I knew we had taken all the proper steps in training this horse. Unfortunately I knew I had to sell Fancy. Then, I was introduced to Anna Ward and she mentioned how equine massage therapy helped their horses. She gave me your number, I gave you a call, and you spent a lot of time with me on the phone introducing me on your profession. We set up an appointment and within a week your husband and wife team were at my barn fixing my horse.

You spent a lot of time massaging her and educating me at the same time. Fancy Blue showed signs of having an extreme amount of pain in her neck, front and back. This seemed to explain her reasoning for throwing all of her riders. From the first time you put your hands on Fancy, it was obvious she was enjoying what you were doing, and you were making her feel better. After three sessions with her, you were able to relieve her pain due to muscle tightness and knotting. Even after you were done working your magic, you would call occasionally to check up on her and see how she was doing.

I have sent Fancy to another trainer, Katie Jenkins, and she cannot believe Fancy would ever be the kind of horse to throw a rider. Within one day of having Fancy, my trainer was riding her on trails for hours at a time and the horse never showed the first sign of wanting to buck or misbehave.

It is sad to know that all the time, Fancy Blue was in pain and and just needed someone to relieve her ailments. Thank you very much for helping my horse and allowing me to keep her! I plan to continue to invite you to my barn to keep all my horses feeling good and have recommended you to every horse person I meet.

~ What can I say about Bob Sharpe? Well, to begin with, I have known him for 20+ years and he is one of the greatest horsemen I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Even before he began his equine massage therapy career I was always impressed with his quiet, gentle manner with horses. He is patient and kind and has a real empathy for the animals he works with. In terms of massage therapy, Bob has been working on my 2 mares for a couple of months now. The initial reason I called him to come out is because I was having some canter lead issues with my Morgan/QH cross, Rain. She was having real difficulty picking up her right canter lead. If it had just been a problem when I was riding her then I would have written it off to rider-error on my part, but the issue was also coming up when I was working her on a lunge line. It was obvious to me that it was uncomfortable for her to use her right lead for some reason. So, I gave Bob a call to see if he could come out and take a look at Rain. He did and the results were immediate and amazing. I rode her the day after Bob came out and she picked up her right lead as soon as I asked her for it. She has not had a problem since. Overall, she is much more supple and I'm totally thrilled with the results Bob has helped me to achieve with her so far.

~ Just a quick note to thank you for taking the extra time to fit Roxy into your schedule during a very busy clinic. You did a lot of body work on Roxy including her neck, legs, hips, and back. She had been extremely sore and I was really impressed with the way that you treated her. Your patience, kindness, and love of working with equines came shinning through! Overall, we have been able to see a huge difference in her since her treatment. Specifically, she is no longer acting like a 15-year-old horse. Today, I watched as she cantered around the field. I am sure we will need to have a couple more sessions, but I really do appreciate finally being able to see the "real" Roxy! Thank you for all the difference that you have made in her!

~ My 9 year old Appaloosa mare, Diva had been sent out on a breeding loan, and came back somewhat the worse for wear, as well as totally blind (she had been losing her sight gradually for several years). She had no major physical issues, but I brought her to a clinic to have Bob Sharpe give her a massage as a little treat. And what a treat it was! Bob gave her a wonderful massage, paid special attention to her cervical vertebrae, and applied some herbal balm to her puffy fetlocks and her "hunter's bump." He talked to her constantly in a deep soothing tone that she responded to immediately, and explained everything before he moved on to each new technique. Diva's appreciation and relief was evident! She loved it, and I'll bet she will remember Bob, if they ever meet again!

~ Bob is one of the kindest, most patient men I know. Animals are put at ease by him and you will often hear a deep, restful sigh from them when he is around. Bob's work in Equine Massage has rounded out years of love and study of horses into a career that makes him a wonderful blessing to any horse he touches. I'm looking forward to him working with my own horses for years to come!

~ I for one will tell you that Bob Sharpe is the most caring person of animals that I know. He loves all animals. I have seen Bob Sharpe want to learn more about equines to the place of him going back to school to learn Equine Massage from the best there is to teach it. If Bob didn't live so dang far from me I would be a regular customer of his, or should I say my horses would be regular customers of his. He has been an inspiration to me and helped me make a decision of going into equine massage myself. If I hadn't had Bob's support I would never have gone. I take my hat off to Bob and the way he cares for all animals.

~ Bob Sharpe has a way with animals - he is able to handle some of my parrots that other experienced bird keepers can't handle. Not all parrots will go to every person, but my birds love Bob and it is amazing to watch them go to sleep as he massages them under their wings, over their heads and down their backs. Bob truly is gifted with all animals!
